After more than 7 years, Joross Gamboa and Roxanne Guinoo or popularly known as the love team of JoRox that started in Star Circle Quest in 2004 reunites in their third Maalaala Mo Kaya episode and this time not as lovers but as enemies in a live triangle story. Joross plays the role of Sashi a transgender woman who recently broke up with her boyfriend of more than two years after the guy decided to ditch her for a woman. She falls in love with Rex (Polo Ravales) but doesn’t know that he is still in a relationship with his longtime girlfriend Fats (Roxanne).
Directed by Raz De La Torre and written by Benson Logronio, the story will, show how Sashi and Fats will continue to fight one another in order to win Rex in the end. But Rex on the other hand, wants the two to simply accept each other as he is unable to make a choice between them. How will Sashi and Fats deal with this improbable twist? Will they ever get along with each other? Who will Rex choose in the end?
The JoRox episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya also stars Maritess Joaquin, IC Mendoza, and Lassy. MMK airs on ABS-CBN every Saturday after Dance Kids.
