After the success of Your Face Sounds Familiar that aired from March 14 and ended last June 7 with Melai Cantiveros as the grand champion, ABS-CBN announced the return of the top rating reality show that showcases the transformation and talent of the celebrity performers on its second season. Billy Crawford will return as host and this season Melai will be joining him to be his co-host. Jed Madela, Gary Valenciano, and Sharon Cuneta return as jury in Your Face Sounds Familiar Season 2.
Within The Voice Kids Season 2, ABS-CBN finally revealed the new batch of celebrity performers who will transform to music icons; from the way the look and the way they sing. Celebrity performers include Denise Laurel, Cacai Bautista, Myrtle Sarrosa, KZ Tandingan, Sam Concepcion, Kean Cipriano, Michael Pangilinan, and Eric Nicholas.
