After their partnership with Google Play, Apple device users such as iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch can now use their SMART account to purchase apps, games, songs, ebooks, magazines and videos on AppStore and iTunes. This partnership of SMART and Apple eliminates the use credit card and let you have your own virtual number or the Mastercard number enabled by SMART. The system kicks off starting February 16 and will have its full availability by Feb 18.
To activate the Pay-With-Mobile system of SMART, they just need to have Apple ID and with their SMART number whether it is prepaid or postpaid number just text REG to 4949. Subscribers will receive a virtual mastercard number that they will input on payment method. Just choose the MasterCard option.
Once activated the user can purchase the app, games, e-books, movies, music and others. There will be 15% fee that covers VAT and transaction fee. Once downloaded properly the subscribers will receive a text message confirming his transaction at the same time for security purpose.
The amount of the purchased app or premium items on iTunes and AppStore will be deducted on Prepaid Load or charged on Postpaid Plan. For more information visit smart.com.ph/paywithmobile.
