After the announcement of Sun Cellular that they will be offering the new Cherry Mobile Android One under their Sun Plan 399 with Php 500 one-time payment, SMART Communications confirmed that will be offering the same device on their All-In Plan 500 for free. This Android One powered device offers wide range of features for smartphone first timers to enjoy the usual call and text but also using mobile internet for browsing and navigating online via apps available in the Google Play.
The new Cherry Mobile Android One has the latest Android 5.0 KitKat operating system running in 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor and 1 GB RAM. It has a 4.5 TFT Capacitive;Asahi Glass LCD with 5MP BSI-supported rear camera and 2MP front camera. It has a built-in internal storage of 8GB with external memory card slot that can accommodate up to 64 GB of storage. Because its available for free when you get it under All-in-Plan 500 you can customize your plan based on your needs through the Flexibundles including text, voice and mobile surfing combo. For as low as Php 400 a subscriber of the plan can have 500 minutes of call to Smart, Sun, Talk ‘n Text and PLDT Landline, 2000 text to all networks, and 150 MB of mobile browsing for 30 days. And the subscribers can still have Php 100 for consumption.
Aside from All-In-Plan 500, the Cherry Mobile Android One will be available soon under Plan 499 where subscribers can enjoy 1.5GB mobile internet, 200 MB allocated for app downloads/updates via Play Store (first 6 mos. upon activation), 100 MB allocated for Android OS updates (first 6 mos. upon activation) and P100 consumable for calls and texts.
