From the breathtaking battle round of Sarah Geronimo’s team where 6 emerges from 18 kids she selected or chosen her during the blind audition; Darren Espanto, Gab Gomez, Earl Consolacion, Kyle Bernido, Diana Agustin and Lyca Gairanod need to prove themselves to be worthy to represent the Popstar Royalty in the semi-finals of The Voice Kids Philippines. It was a very hard decision for Sarah whom to select where she became emotional yet she decided to take Darren and Lyca to the next round.
During the sing offs Darren started it with the song Listen and followed by Gab’s performance of American Boy.Fresh from their battle rounds; Earl performed Ikaw while Kyle did the song No Air. The last set for the sing offs where Diana and Lyca who did heartwarming songs Natutulong Ba Ang Diyos and Tagalog version of Dance with my Father.
Moving to the semi-finals next week where The Voice Kids Philippines, it will be a live showdown for the 6 semi-finalist; Darren and Lyca of Team Sarah, Darlene Vibares and TonTon Cabilesto of Lea Salonga’s team and Juan Karlos Labajo and Edray Teodoro from Bamboo’s Kamp Kawayan. Viewers of the show will now have the power to decide who among the contestants will make it to the finals because next week there will be text votes which will surely bring impact to the reality singing competition of ABS-CBN.
