Last June 20 within the timeslot if Ikaw Lamang, ABS-CBN released the trailer of Philippine adaptation of Pure Love featuring Alex Gonzaga and Yen Santos playing the role of Diane and Ysabel. Originally known as 49 Days in South Korea, Pure Love follows the journey of Diane as a spirit where as her soul lies in the hospital because of an accident leaving her in a coma. Her quest is to find three tears of pure love from different people that will finally lift her spirit to heaven. With the help of the scheduler played by Matt Evans she can possessed the body of Ysabel a broken hearted woman because of the death of her boyfriend.

Joining Alex and Yen are Arjo Atayde, Joseph Marco, Yam Concepcion, and Sunshine Cruz. Pure Love as a Korean drama aired in ABS-CBN in 2011 on Primetime Bida. It is the fifth Korean drama series to be adapted in the Philippines under ABS-CBN following My Girl, Only You, Lovers In Paris and Green Rose.
Pure Love will be airing on ABS-CBN this July.
