From Kris Aquino’s announcement that she’s currently dating and getting to know the Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista last April 7 in her show Aquino & Abunda Tonight, the Queen of Multimedia last April 21 appeared in her show with a shorter hair which her co-host Boy Abunda and viewers of the evening talkshow were amazed in her decision. Kris shared that she’s undergoing several changes in her life and her haircut is appropriate to go with it. When asked by Abunda if she is going through something, Aquino answered that it is over and it is time for change. She doesn’t mention Bautista if he’s connected with that change. Kris ended her discussion with Boy with the line she doesn’t want any hearthache.
Meanwhile, in the article of Ricky Lo in column in Philippine Star, he mentioned that Bautista has not officially ended his 20-year relationship with girlfriend Tates Gana without naming the source of the information. He also included that Bautista’s two kids with Gana are affected by reports that their father is now dating Aquino, which they only learned about from news reports.
After the report of Lo in his column, Kris posted in her instagram (@krisaquino214) a photo of cases of energy drink that she mentioned that it was given to her by HB. The initial pertains to Herbert Bautista but she included the line that she’s sorry for breaking her rule in not mentioning him in her IG account. She also included the message “We’re not a “couple” but we are the BEST OF FRIENDS. And in this uncertain world, we’re sure to be FRIENDS FOR LIFE. That’s actually what we started as, it’s where we are most comfortable being, and for whatever tomorrow may still bring, true & lasting friendship is always the best foundation… May I quote my favorite song? “Thanks to you for teaching me how to live, putting things in perspective. Teaching me how to give, and how to take, no mistake…” I grew up a lot this 2014 & he had a big role in what I am today.” Kris also included three meaningful hashtags #noregrets #stillbelieveinlove and #someday.
The energy drink was Bautista’s gift to Aquino after the host mentioned that she felt dizzy and was rushed to the hospital after her taping of Kris TV in Intramuros on the same day. It was because of the heat and she needed to intake enough amount of electrolytes.
But in Push.com.ph article, Kris confirmed that she’s not in a relationship with Herbert.
