After the recent 30th PMPC Star Awards for Movies that happened at the Grand Ballroom of Solaire Resorts & Casino on the evening of March 9, showbiz reporter Jobert Sucaldito posted his statement on his Facebook account questioning the result. He questions the credibility of the Star Awards for Movies which according to him along with the people behind it doesn’t have that credibility anymore. He is pertaining to his assurance that Laguna Governor and action star Jeorge Estregan (Jeorge “ER” Ejercito Estregan) will be winning the Best Actor award for the movie Boy Golden: Shoot to Kill, the Arturo Porcuna Story.
In his emotional Facebook statement, he said that he was fooled by most of the members of PMPC making him believe that Estregan will be winning the award. Whereas it was assured to him because the supposed winner of the said title which was Joel Torre of OTJ (On-The-Job) who cannot get enough votes to make himself win. Sucaldito mentioned in his statement that the reason Torre cannot get much vote because he cannot pay other members to vote for him. With the information he received he assumed that Estregan will be winning but the result last night shocked him because Vice Ganda won the title. From there he started the credibility of the group and started to throw allegations of what might happen. He also dragged members of the PMPC including Rommel Placente, Mildred Bacud, Sandy Es Mariano, Timmy Basil, and Roldan Castro.
