After the success of The Voice of the Philippines last 2013, the Broadway diva Lea Salonga who was the winning coach that time announced on her twitter that she will be returning for this edition as one of the coaches. She mentioned that she will be joining the Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo and Rock Icon Bamboo on the The Voice of the Philippines Kids that ABS-CBN already teased that will be airing soon on television. There’s no confirmation yet if Apl.de.Ap will be joining this edition of The Voice of the Philippines.
During the season 1 of The Voice of the Philippines, from Lea’s team came the first ever champion of the singing reality show that became phenomenal on the weeknight television. Mitoy Yonting was her winning contender and aside from Mitoy she produced contenders with powerful voices including Radha and Darryl Shy. Meanwhile, here’s her tweet post of her confirmation of joining The Voice of the Philippines Kids.

As for Sarah, her contender Klarisse de Guzman was a tough competitor to Lea’s Mitoy because of her diva voice that wows the audience. Completing the final contenders during the finale are Myk Perez of Bamboo and Janice Javier of Apl. Coming from the intense showdown last year what will be Lea’s tactic and strategy in selecting her team together with Sarah and Bamboo that will make The Voice of the Philippines Kids fun and exciting?
Up to date there’s no confirmation yet if Toni Gonzaga will be the lead host of The Voice of the Philippines Kids along with the V Reporters Alex Gonzaga and Robi Domingo. Keep posted for more updates very soon.
