Shell FuelSave launches the Target One Million Campaign!

In line with the advocacy of Shell in proper fuel consumption, they launch the Target One Million campaign through their Shell FuelSave that will help one million motorists across the globe learn how to save fuel. Through their website www.shell.com.ph/targetonemillion, it will help everyone to understand more on how to save fuel and even cut down their fuel costs especially those who are budget conscious.

The website contains online mini-games that can be opened online via desktop, laptop and android power tablets and registration is for free. It is also good for kids who want to understand proper energy conservation at the early age. It has social media application where you can share your scores and even the games through your friends on Facebook and Twitter. Being on of the leading country that tops the campaign of Shell FuelSave, Philippines joins other 18 countries like Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Slovakia, Thailand, Turkey and UK to push on this advocacy.

In line with the actual fuel saving techniques Filipino drives take the lead among Asian Market. Philippines ranked first in three out of the Top 5 savings tips including ranked first in three (3) out of the Top 5 fuel saving tips, namely: avoiding over-revving (79%), reducing speed (56%) and driving smoothly (53%). The country ranked second in Asia in avoiding excessive idling (25%) and ranked third in using the top gear (30%).

And with the Shell FuelSave: Target One Million Campaign it will encourage more drivers to know the importance of proper fuel consumption and learn some tips that they can actually use it as they start driving their cars. With this campaign, Shell proves that it is not just for profit but also on how to help every drivers the idea of proper consumption and savings that will not hurt much of their pocket as they drive safety and efficiently.
