June 6, 2010, Taguig City, Philippines – Showbiz royalty and World Food Programme National Ambassador KC Concepcion joins End Hunger: Walk The World – Isang Hakbang Pilipinas 2010 to show support to the UN WFP and the 70, 000 students who needs nutrition in Mindanao. More than 5, 000 participants join KC Concepcion and Stephen Anderson, WFP Country Coordinator on this annual walk to raise awareness and funds for WFP’s project to end child hunger. This year’s annual walk for the Philippines is different now that WFP challenges running enthusiast to join the event with the 5Km fun run aside from the 1Km walk.
KC Concepcion is the daughter of Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion, both big stars in the Philippines. KC is now mainstay of ABS-CBN showbiz talk show The Buzz and host on her very own morning show Simply KC. She will be launching her movie with her father entitled I’ll Be There, a father’s day offering of Star Cinema and a reunion project for her and her father.
