Meralco launches Maliwanag ang Pasko campaign

As Manila Electric Company (Meralco) officially lighted their Christmas decors in theirLiwanag Park that will be open to public from November 25 – December 30, they also appointed Ms. Universe 2011 3rd Runner Up Shamcey Supsup as the Meralco Ambassador of Light. Aside from that Meralco also launches their Christmas campaign Maliwanag ang Pasko that will benefit underprivileged kids to have a brighter Christmas. With this project, everyone is encourage putting up Christmas decors and lights in their homes, taking pictures of it and posting it to Meralco Facebook Page or email it at [email protected]. For every photo submitted it will benefit a kid where Meralco will be sponsoring their education. This year Meralco aims to send 1,000 kids to school on their campaign.

Here’s the complete mechanics of the campaign:

  1. Decorate your house with Christmas lights and take its photo. Each photo should be no bigger than 1MB.
  2. E-mail the photo to [email protected] and indicate the following in your e-mail:
    • A caption (in 60 words or less) how you’re making this Christmas brighter for your family.
    • Your contact details:
      1. Present Address
      2. Phone Number (Mobile and Home)
      3. Official Email Address
      4. Service ID Number (SIN)
  3. All qualified entrants will receive a notification letter via e-mail from Meralco.
  4. All qualified photos will be posted on the Meralco Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/meralco).
  5. All qualified entrants will receive a Maliwanag ang Pasko Facebook badge to display on their own Facebook Pages
  6. Become a fan of Meralco Facebook Fan Page to see your photo and share it with your friends.
  7. All qualified entries from November 18– December 20, 2011 will be posted on the Maliwanag ang Pasko microsite (www.maliwanagangpasko.com)
  8. This program is open to Meralco customers only.
