Pascual Laboratories, Inc. (PascualLab) continues its 80th anniversary celebration by extending its commitment to Filipino health and wellness through a partnership with Caritas Manila, bringing healthcare assistance and wellness products closer to underserved communities.
Founded in 1946 by Leonora and Isosceles Pascual, PascualLab began with the mission of addressing the country’s Vitamin C needs and providing tuberculosis relief in the post-war era. Eight decades later, the Filipino pharmaceutical company has expanded its product portfolio to address the changing health and wellness needs of Filipinos, offering solutions for food supplementation, cough relief, and oral health.

Through its corporate social responsibility program, Sowing to Empower, Educate, and Develop (S.E.E.D.), PascualLab continues to support sustainable development goals, particularly equal access to healthcare. For its 80th anniversary year, the company is working with Caritas Manila, the social welfare arm of the Catholic Church, to advance Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

With the support of Caritas Manila’s extensive network and logistical resources, PascualLab aims to reach more underserved individuals and communities through donations of its health and wellness products. These include Poten-Cee Ascorbic Acid for adults and children, Vitex Negundo L. Lagundi Leaf, C-Lium Fibre Food Supplement, and OraCare Mouthrinse.
As part of the partnership, PascualLab participated in a medical outreach activity in October, providing free medical check-ups and cough relief to 90 members of Asilo de San Vicente de Paul, one of Caritas Manila’s partner communities in Manila. PascualLab employees also volunteered their time and services during the activity. The event also marked the formalization of the partnership between the two organizations through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).

PascualLab likewise shared its anniversary celebration with members of the media who have supported the company through the years. As part of this gesture, the company donated Php 16,558 worth of Ascof Lagundi Ponkan to children in need on behalf of each media partner.
Through these initiatives, PascualLab continues to uphold its founding mission of supporting Filipino health and wellness, carrying its commitment forward as it celebrates eight decades of service.
