Get ready for a spellbinding Halloween as Araneta City transforms into a world of elemental adventures with “The Rise of the Four Elements” on October 31. The City of Firsts will offer themed activities, trick-or-treat adventures, entertainment, and special treats for children, families, and visitors across its malls and establishments.
Each mall will feature a different elemental realm: Water at Gateway Mall 2, Fire at Gateway Mall 1, Air at Ali Mall, and Earth at Farmers Plaza. The activity areas will feature themed photobooths, face painting stations, inflatable play areas, and cotton candy corners. Registration for the elemental activities runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Shoppers can also take home free Halloween loot bags filled with sweet treats and items from Araneta City’s event partners. A single-receipt purchase worth Php 2,000 at Gateway Mall 2 or Php 1,500 at Gateway Mall 1, Ali Mall, and Farmers Plaza qualifies for the giveaway. Only purchases made on October 31 will be accepted.
At Gateway Mall 2, the Water Realm will host an afternoon of spooky entertainment, highlighted by the Elemental Guardians costume contest, where participants can showcase their most creative elemental-inspired looks for a chance to win prizes. Visitors can also enjoy the “Into the Sea” show.
Children and families can continue the adventure with the traditional trick-or-treat activity. Participating mall stores and tenants will display special stickers to guide trick-or-treaters to participating locations.
Halloween treats at World Kitchens
The Halloween festivities extend to World Kitchens on Level 4 of Gateway Mall 2. Diners who present a single receipt worth Php 2,000 from any show kitchen, including World Cellar, can claim free Halloween loot bags.
Guests dining at Seafood 8 by Olio’s who avail of the Lunch Festival offering will also receive a special Halloween candy bag from the restaurant.
Race of the Elements with aRUNeta Run Club
The Halloween adventure begins early with the aRUNeta Run Club’s “Race of the Elements” costume run on October 25. Participants can join the themed running event and look forward to exciting rewards and raffle prizes.

The festivities begin on October 30 at ibis Styles Manila, where The Edge Skyview Bar will host “The Night We Got Ghosted,” an after-dark Halloween celebration starting at 9 p.m.
