Coco Martin marks his 10th year as a Mang Inasal brand ambassador as the Filipino restaurant chain stages its much-awaited Mang Inasal Ihaw Fest on October 25 at Ayala Malls Feliz. Joining him at the celebration are Maris Racal, Shuvee Entrata, and Fyang Smith, with Dimples Romana as host.
Over the past decade, Coco Martin and Mang Inasal have strengthened their connection with Filipinos through their respective journeys in entertainment and food. Both have grown into enduring Filipino favorites, earning the continued support of audiences and customers while staying true to the communities they serve.

Before becoming one of Philippine television’s biggest stars, Coco Martin gained recognition for his performances in independent films, portraying characters whose struggles, dreams, and triumphs reflected the lives of ordinary Filipinos. His career reached new heights through the long-running action series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and Batang Quiapo, further strengthening his connection with viewers.
Mang Inasal has built a similar relationship with Filipinos through its signature Ihaw-Sarap Chicken Inasal, Unli-Rice offering, and other well-loved menu items. From its beginnings as a grilled chicken restaurant in Iloilo, the brand has grown into one of the country’s recognizable quick-service restaurant chains, becoming part of Filipino family gatherings, celebrations, and everyday meals.
Their decade-long partnership reflects a shared appeal rooted in authenticity, familiarity, and a strong connection with Filipino communities. As the face of Mang Inasal, Coco Martin represents the brand’s commitment to bringing Ihaw-Sarap food and Unli-Saya dining experiences to customers.

“For the past 10 years, Coco Martin has been an important part of the Mang Inasal story. What makes our partnership special is the genuine connection we both share with Filipinos. As Coco continues to inspire audiences through his work, Mang Inasal remains committed to bringing, through Ihaw-Sarap food and Unli-Saya dining experience, meaningful moments of togetherness to Filipino families,” said Mang Inasal President Mike V. Castro.
Mang Inasal’s continued growth and industry recognition further demonstrate its strong connection with Filipino consumers. The brand was named the 2025 Top Brand in the Philippines under the QSR Grilled Category by Influential Brands.
The October 25 Mang Inasal Ihaw Fest will celebrate the milestone with a gathering of popular personalities, food, entertainment, and Filipino togetherness. Customers can get free passes to the event by presenting official receipts for Mang Inasal Ihaw Fest meals purchased and enjoyed during October.
