Starting September 14, GMA News brings a fresh approach to daily news and information with “Usap-usapan: What We Know So Far,” a 30-minute program airing Mondays to Fridays at 6 p.m. on GTV, powered by TEAM TOTOO, the Network’s roster of seasoned and trusted journalists.

The new program will deliver the latest and biggest news developments while putting trending claims, viral posts, rumors, and breaking stories through the lens of verification journalism. It will examine what is true, false, or still unclear, while keeping viewers updated as new information and facts emerge.

Designed for today’s fast-paced information environment, “Usap-usapan: What We Know So Far” presents news in conversational, bold, and easy-to-follow formats. The program combines quick and engaging storytelling with the credibility and journalistic standards that audiences have come to expect from GMA News.

At the core of the show is a simple promise: “We called, we checked, here’s the answer.” Its lineup of segments applies this verification-driven approach to different types of stories, helping viewers separate facts from speculation and understand the context behind what is making headlines.

Leading the effort is Team Totoo, GMA News’ team of experienced journalists who bring their expertise and investigative skills to every story. They check information, verify claims, seek answers from reliable sources, and pursue the facts to help viewers make sense of the issues and conversations dominating the public sphere.

As misinformation and unverified claims continue to spread rapidly online, the program aims to give viewers a reliable way to navigate the information they encounter every day. Rather than simply reporting what is trending, the show goes a step further by examining the claims and providing viewers with verified information.

From breaking developments to viral conversations, “Usap-usapan: What We Know So Far” will provide timely updates while acknowledging when information is still developing or remains unconfirmed. This approach allows viewers to stay informed without losing sight of the facts.

With its combination of verification journalism, accessible storytelling, and the experience of Team Totoo, the new program seeks to make credible information easier to understand and more relevant to everyday viewers.

Know what’s true and catch “Usap-usapan: What We Know So Far” beginning September 14, Mondays to Fridays at 6 p.m. on GTV, airing before 24 Oras.
