OPM hitmaker Maki continues to expand his international presence with appearances at Lalala Fest Manila and British singer-songwriter Rex Orange County’s Manila concert. During Rex Orange County’s one-night show at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on August 20, Maki performed fan favorites including “Dilaw,” “Saan?” and “kahel na langit,” reflecting on how he once covered the artist’s songs before sharing the stage with him.
Maki returned to the stage the following day for Lalala Fest Manila, joining international acts such as Steve Lacy, FLO, Two Door Cinema Club, and Matthew Ifield, as well as local artists Ben&Ben, Over October, Dilaw, and fitterkarma. He also surprised festivalgoers with James Reid for a performance of their collaboration “luck,” giving fans a live preview of the new single.
The back-to-back appearances highlight Maki’s growing reach beyond the Philippines as he continues to bring OPM to wider audiences through international activities and his Southeast Asian tour. “luck” by Maki and James Reid is now available on digital streaming platforms.
