Romance takes an unexpected turn in Our Sticky Love, Netflix’s newest Korean romantic comedy series premiering on August 7. Starring Jung Hae-in and Ha Young, the series blends humor, mystery, and heartfelt moments as two strangers navigate an unusual relationship in a quaint rural village.
Ha Young stars as Go Eun-sae, a prosecutor who wakes up in a small-town hospital with no memory of who she is or how she got there. Her confusion deepens when Jang Tae-ha (Jung Hae-in), a warmhearted boxing coach, suddenly appears and confidently claims to be her boyfriend.
Thrown into an unfamiliar world, Eun-sae struggles to believe Tae-ha’s story. Everything around her feels out of place, from his rugged appearance, which is far from her usual type, to the peaceful village of Gujin-gun, known for its traditional Korean taffy shops and quirky residents. As the two begin living under the same roof, what starts as an awkward arrangement slowly blossoms into an endearing romance.
Director Kim Jang-han describes the series as “a heart-warming, feel-good romantic comedy.”
“It’s a story about building love that binds two people as tightly as sticky, sweet Korean taffy,” he says. “The series’ irresistible charm will leave you unable to pull yourself away, just like getting stuck to Korean taffy before you even realize it.”

The newly released main trailer offers a glimpse into the pair’s unconventional relationship. While Eun-sae remains suspicious of Tae-ha’s claims, his unwavering kindness and genuine affection gradually begin to break down her defenses. His earnest admiration leaves her unexpectedly flustered, and before long, she finds herself smiling more in his company.
Just when their growing connection seems to be taking shape, Tae-ha delivers a cryptic warning that no one must discover the truth about them. The revelation hints at a deeper mystery, raising questions about why Eun-sae is supposedly safest by his side, what secrets Tae-ha is keeping, and what events truly tied their lives together.
With its blend of quirky humor, heartwarming romance, and intriguing mystery, Our Sticky Love promises an entertaining story about finding love in the most unexpected circumstances.
Our Sticky Love premieres August 7, exclusively on Netflix.
