The 2026 Brand Finance Report cited Mang Inasal as the strongest Quick Service Restaurant Brand, recognizing the 28% increase in Mang Inasal’s brand value

Mang Inasal garnered a Brand Strength Index score of 95.2/100 and an upgrade in its brand strength rating from AAA to AAA+. The significant jump makes Mang Inasal one of the biggest movers in this year’s report, sustaining its business performance amid inflationary pressures and evolving consumer habits.

Over all, Mang Inasal placed second among the nation’s strongest brands where retail, restaurant, and food brands have taken the lead, according to Brand Finance.

Mang Inasal President Mike V. Castro attributed the brand’s momentum to its ability to remain relevant to what Filipinos value most: great-tasting food, strong value for money, and a dining experience that feels familiar and joyful. “Even amid economic pressures, Filipinos continue to look for brands that deliver both satisfaction and sulit value. That has remained one of Mang Inasal’s strongest differentiators,” Castro said.

Known as the country’s Grill Expert, Mang Inasal has strengthened its position through its signature offerings, including Chicken Inasal, Pork BBQ, and Extra Creamy Halo-Halo, alongside its well-loved Unli-Saya dining experience.

Beyond its menu, the brand has successfully built cultural relevance through digital engagement and community-driven campaigns. From creator collaborations and live streams to social media content driven by real customer experiences, Mang Inasal has continued to connect with consumers where conversations happen.

“Our goal is not just to go viral but to remain culturally relevant and meaningfully connected to Filipinos across platforms and generations,” Castro added.

The company has also invested in strengthening its digital ecosystem, including the recently revamped Mang Inasal App, to support growing demand for delivery, takeout, drive-thru, and digital ordering services.

Looking ahead, Mang Inasal sees opportunities to expand its presence across more everyday eating occasions while increasing customer frequency and household penetration. The brand is also exploring growth opportunities in underrepresented dayparts such as breakfast and merienda.

Supporting these ambitions is a strong focus on people and culture. Mang Inasal continues to invest in training, operational excellence, and franchise development to ensure a consistent customer experience across its network.

“Beyond serving food, our teams understand that they help create joyful everyday moments for customers,” Castro said.

The strong Brand Finance showing highlights Mang Inasal’s success in combining value, innovation, and authentic Filipino hospitality. With continued investments in digital engagement, customer convenience, and operational excellence, the brand is well-positioned to sustain its momentum and strengthen its leadership in the years ahead.
