The iconic pageant segment Miss Q and A has officially returned to It’s Showtime, kicking off a brand-new season filled with wit, personality, and unforgettable moments. Featuring a fresh batch of aspiring queens from across the country, the competition once again puts the spotlight on contestants who can combine intelligence, confidence, and humor in one entertaining package.
Fans welcomed the segment’s comeback with enthusiasm, sending the hashtag #ShowtimeMQA2026 to the top of nationwide trends on X. Years after its original run, Miss Q and A continues to be remembered for producing viral moments and quotable answers that remain part of pop culture conversations.

For host Vice Ganda, the segment’s enduring appeal lies in its unpredictability. “Ang dapat abangan nating lahat ay yung mga hindi inaasahang sasabihin ng mga contestants natin, kasi yun yung magic ng ‘Miss Q&A,’” he shared. Vice added that viewers should also watch out for the new personalities joining the competition, some of whom may become the next breakout stars and fan favorites.
Opening the new season in style, Vice performed his latest single, Talak, energizing the audience before the competition officially began.
Joining this season’s panel of hurados are returning judge Nicole Cordoves, alongside Karylle and Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition alumnus and Y Speak host Ralph De Leon.

In the season premiere, Mrs. Jawo of Antipolo emerged as the first daily winner after impressing the judges during the “Wit Lang” round. She took home P15,000 in cash, along with a sash and crown.
Meanwhile, auditions remain open for aspiring contestants aged 18 and above. Interested applicants may showcase their wit, confidence, and stage presence at the ABS-CBN audience entrance every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
