Yannie Basical of Region 3 emerged victorious as the grand champion of Tawag ng Tanghalan Season 10 after earning the highest overall score of 97.4% from the panel of hurados during the grand finals held on Saturday (June 13). His win marks a historic milestone as he becomes the competition’s first champion on the autism spectrum.

Yannie secured the title with a powerful Smokey Mountain medley that earned a standing ovation from both the judges and the live audience. Earlier in the competition, he also impressed the hurados with an emotional rendition of SB19’s “Wakas” during the first round.

In the final showdown, Yannie edged out Charlie Palalisan, who finished as first runner-up with 97.1%, while Jeanel Silvestre placed second runner-up with a score of 95.1%.

The Season 10 grand finals featured a distinguished panel of hurados composed of Darren Espanto, Erik Santos, Yeng Constantino, Klarisse de Guzman, Jed Madela, Marielle Montellano, Nyoy Volante, Bituin Escalante, Jonathan Manalo, Kyla, JM Yosures, and Ogie Alcasid.

As the newest Tawag ng Tanghalan grand champion, Yannie received ₱1 million in cash, a trophy designed by Toym Imao, a management contract with ABS-CBN, a recording contract with ABS-CBN Music, and two round-trip tickets to destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.

Meanwhile, Charlie took home ₱200,000, while Jeanel received ₱100,000. Fellow grand finalists Von Keirule, Will de Sosa, and Russian Ouano were each awarded ₱20,000.

The grand finals also generated significant online buzz, with the hashtag #TNT10AngHulingTapatan trending nationwide on X.

As Tawag ng Tanghalan Season 10 comes to a close, viewers can look forward to the return of the beloved Miss Q&A beginning Monday (June 16). Auditions are likewise ongoing for upcoming segments of It’s Showtime.
