Acclaimed actresses Beauty Gonzalez and Kris Bernal come together for the first time on GMA Afternoon Prime in House of Lies, taking on some of the most demanding roles of their careers as a devoted mother and a conflicted wife.
Premiering on January 19, the drama stars Beauty as Marjorie and Kris as Althea, two women bound by family ties yet divided by ambition and deep seated rivalry. Also leading the cast are Mike Tan as Paolo and Martin del Rosario as Edward, both set to deliver compelling performances.
The series is further enriched by powerhouse veteran actors Jackie Lou Blanco, Lito Pimentel, and Snooky Serna. Joining them are Sparkle artists Kayla Davies, Angel Cadao, Geo Mhanna, and Kokoy de Santos, alongside Tanya Gomez, Patricia Tumulak, and Gee Canlas.
House of Lies follows the intense story of two women determined to secure their ideal lives and protect their families. As ambition, deception, and betrayal collide, a dangerous web of lies begins to unravel.
Marjorie is a loving wife to Paolo and a dedicated mother, while Paolo’s brother Edward is married to Althea, a high maintenance and deeply insecure woman who is also a strict mother to their daughter. Born into wealth, brothers Paolo and Edward have long competed to prove themselves as the rightful heir to Torrecampo Realty. Althea’s growing resentment toward Marjorie fuels her determination to bring her down once they become part of the same family.
As dark secrets surface within what appears to be a perfect household, the question remains: can lies and betrayal stay hidden, or will the truth destroy everything they hold dear?
