Kapuso star Dennis Trillo has been hailed Asia’s Best Actor in a Leading Role for his remarkable performance in the acclaimed film “Green Bones” at the prestigious Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA) in Singapore.
This win further cements Trillo’s standing as one of the region’s most exceptional actors. Green Bones, which also earned Best Picture at the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), continues to make waves. Its latest honor from the AACA recognizes top creative work from 17 participating countries.

Representing Trillo and the entire Green Bones team at the ceremony was GMA Network executive and Philippine Ambassador for the Asian Academy of Creative Arts, Gigi Santiago-Lara, who accepted the award on their behalf.
Trillo’s achievement highlights a strong performance from GMA Network, which garnered 15 National Winner awards at the 2025 Asian Academy Creative Awards. Among the notable winners were:
