GMA is set to deliver a powerhouse lineup of classic films from the “Da King” of Philippine cinema, Fernando Poe Jr., offering viewers a month filled with gripping action and heartfelt storytelling.

Kicking off the November slate on the 2nd is the 1971 film Alas… Hari at Sota, featuring FPJ and Paquito Diaz. This gritty tale of power, betrayal, and survival highlights FPJ’s commanding presence and Diaz’s unforgettable portrayal of a villain.

The excitement continues on November 9 with Partida (1985), a courtroom drama where FPJ portrays a lawyer fighting for justice within a corrupt system. Armida Siguion-Reyna delivers a compelling performance that adds emotional weight to the narrative.

On November 16, GMA brings back King (1978), starring FPJ and Alma Moreno. This action-drama follows a man forced to confront his past while safeguarding his future, blending themes of romance, revenge, and redemption.

Viewers can look forward to another emotional ride on November 23 with Daniel Bartolo ng Sapang Bato (1982). Set in a rural community, the film features FPJ as a local hero rising to defend his town, with Marianne dela Riva as his leading lady.

Closing the month on November 30 is Bontoc (1977), set in the scenic Cordillera mountains. Starring FPJ and Elizabeth Oropesa, this culturally rich film tells a powerful story of tribal conflict, tradition, and the pursuit of peace.

Catch FPJ sa GMA every Sunday at 3:15 p.m. on GMA Network.
