Big Brother once again opens his famous house to a new batch of housemates for the highly anticipated Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0. This is the second collaboration between ABS-CBN Studios and GMA Network, featuring a fresh lineup of Gen Z celebrity housemates from Star Magic and Sparkle Artist Center.
Before the grand opening night, 24 Oras unveiled the first eight housemates: Sofia Pablo, Princess Aliyah, Heath Jornales, and Marco Masa from Sparkle, along with Joaquin Arce, Miguel Vergara, Krystal Mejes, and Carmelle Collado from Star Magic.
Joining them to complete the lineup are Anton Vinzon, Waynona Collings, Caprice Cayetano, Lee Victor, John Clifford, and Ashley Sarmiento from Sparkle, as well as Eliza Borromeo, Rave Victoria, Inigo Jose, Lella Ford, Reich Alim, and Fred Moser from Star Magic.
During the kickoff, the first batch to enter Kuya’s house included Sofia, Joaquin, Marco, and Carmelle. They were soon followed by Heath, Krystal, Miguel, and Princess Aliyah. Upon entry, Carmelle received the honor of announcing their first group task, which was to form a human chain and pass a cake from the podium to the other side. Completing the challenge allowed them to enjoy their welcome feast and celebrate Fred’s birthday.
Aside from introducing new faces, PBB Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 also marks the return of Luis Manzano as one of the hosts.
In the first collaboration edition, Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca were hailed as the first-ever Big Winner Duo.
This season’s hosts include Bianca Gonzales-Intal, Luis Manzano, Gabbi Garcia, Robi Domingo, Kim Chiu, Enchong Dee, and Melai Cantiveros-Francisco, with Alexa Ilacad and Mavy Legaspi leading the online show.
