>After his successful portrayal of Sherlock Holmes in 2009 and Iron Man 2 in early 2010, Robert Downey Jr. will return to the big screen in the film Due Date as Peter Highman an highly strung expected father who takes a road trip across the country to see his birth of his child. The comedy film is directed by Todd Phillips and also starring Zach Galifianakis, Michelle Monaghan and Jamie Foxx. The film will be showing in November 2010 and distributed by Warner Bros Pictures.
The film follows Highman on a road trip hoping to reach his wife on time to witness the birth of his child. With Ethan Tremblay (Galifianakis) and other adventures on their way, Highman will experience the greatest trip of his life aside from being a future father.
The comedy film was produced by Phillips and Dan Goldberg, same group who did Hangover and the movie is written by Alan R. Cohen &n Freedland and Adam Sztykiel & Phillips, from a story by Cohen & Freedland. The film is distributed by Warner Bros Pictures and will be showing in all cinemas nationwide on November 2010.
