Its official after several weeks of speculations and guessing, the former Naga City Mayor Jesse Robredo was named as the new Department of Interior and Local Government by President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III after he (PNoy) temporarily handles the said department within two weeks after his oath. But one question arises on this appointment, what will be the reaction of Vice President Jejomar Binay who is vocal with his ambition to be the secretary of DILG? Will it start another scar in the relationship of Aquino and Binay, after Aquino ignores Binay’s wish to be DILG secretary before he announced the partial list of his appointees last June 29 in Samar St., in Quezon City and he firmly says that Binay didn’t asked the position (DILG Secretary) to him.
