In the official Facebook Page of MNCTV, they posted a Bahasa Indonesia version of the theme song of the trending noontime show in the Philippines, It’s Showtime. In the end of the 30 second clip, the logo of It’s Showtime with the word Indonesia and below it is the word segera or in English translation means very soon.
In the caption of the video, it says “It’s Showtime Indonesia segera di MNCTV” (It’s Showtime Indonesia very soon on MNCTV) and “Program terbaru dan pasti seru akan hadir di MNCTV! Penasaran keseruan dan kemeriahannya seperti apa? Tunggu hanya di #ItsShowtimeIndonesia SEGERA di MNCTV” (The newest and definitely exciting program will be on MNCTV! Curious about what excitement and how is it like? Keep posted on #ItsShowtimeIndonesia very soon on MNCTV).

MNCTV is one of the leading TV station in Indonesia. It is an private television station formerly known as TPI and Televisi Keluarga Indonesia. The new name and logo was launched in October 20, 2010.
There’s no clear update if MNCTV will have their local version of It’s Showtime and what will be the segments and who will be the hosts. The project is still in the development stage between ABS-CBN and MNCTV.
MNCTV is a well-known partner of ABS-CBN whereas they already aired Bahasa Indonesia-dubbed series in their channel including Doble Kara, Annaliza, Got To Believe (Kaulah Takdirku), Pangako Sa’Yo (Janjiku), I’ll Never Say Goodbye (Untuk Selamanya) and On The Wings Of Love.
Franchising a noontime variety show is not new in Indonesia. GMA Network and TAPE’s Eat Bulaga! was localized by SCTV from July 16, 2012 and ended on April 3, 2014. But in November 17, 2014 Eat Bulaga! Indonesia transferred to antv until August 8, 2016.
It’s Showtime premiered in ABS-CBN on October 24, 2009. Originally hosted by Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Kim Atienza, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, and Vice Ganda. Vice was a resident judge in the show while Billy Crawford and Karylle were guest judges until they became permanent hosts in the third season of the noontime show. Recently the added Amy Perez and Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla as part of the It Showtime family. The top rating variety show airs Monday to Saturday on ABS-CBN in the afternoon.
