Be one of the lucky contestants to join the latest reality cooking show of SM Hypermart and the Asian Food Channel hosted by Chef Tristan Encarnacion – Super Chef 2010. The reality cooking show will test the creativity of both amateur and professional cook/chef in creating innovative cooking style in creating more from the ordinary dish like adobo, menudo and kalderate. Super Chef 2010 of SM Hypermart will be open to housewives, carinderia owners, students and professional cook, they will undergo three stages; first the audition, second the elimination and third the grand finals.
The join the audition, aspiring contestants must present a single or accumulated receipt purchase worth 1,000 Pesos from any SM Hypermart stores. The competition will be judged with the criteria; Taste (50%), Originality (25%), Plating/Presentation (15%) and Affordability (10%), and judges includes Umagang Kay Ganda host Winnie Cordero and top Filipino chef like Reggie Aspiras.
The grand winner of SM Hypermart Super Chef 2010 will receive a kitchen showcase worth P100,000 and a 4-day all-expense-paid trip in Singapore for a crashed course on culinary arts. Runner-ups will also win a P50,000, P25,000, P15,000 or P10,000 SM gift certificates. Only the grand finals will be aired on the Asia Food Channel.
