Two network giants officially signed a groundbreaking partnership early this afternoon (September 26), the leading mobile and home telecommunication network PLDT Home and Smart Communications have teamed up with multimedia conglomerate ABS-CBN for iWant TV. Present at the MOA signing includes PLDT and Smart Chair Manny V. Pangilinan and ABS-CBN Chairman Eugenio Gabby Lopez III together with Ariel P. Fermin, EVP and Head of Consumer Business for PLDT and Smart; Oscar ‘Renren’ Reyes, FVP and Head of Home Business for PLDT; Katrina Luna-Abelarde, FVP and Head of Smart Wireless Consumer Division; Gary Dujali, VP and Head of PLDT Home Marketing; Kathy Carag, VP and Head of Smart and Sun Brand; Carlo Katigbak, ABS-CBN President & CEO ; Aldrin Cerrado, ABS-CBN CFO; Rolando Valdueza, ABS-CBN Group CFO; Cat Lopez, ABS-CBN Head Finance for Broadcast; and Mellissa Limcaoco, ABS-CBN Head of Digital Transformation.
The partnership aims to enable the PLDT Home and Smart subscribers will soon be able to use their prepaid load or postpaid account to catch up on their favorite ABS-CBN shows, blockbuster films and other top-rated content on www.iwantv.com.ph on their computers or Smart TVs, or on the iWant TV app on their mobile phones and tablets. Both PLDT Home and Smart will also soon roll out exciting offers to let millions of subscribers enjoy iWant TV content at their fingertips.
Subscribers can now enjoy live streaming of ABS-CBN shows via iWant TV App or website including DZMM TeleRadyo and ANC. They can also watch past and current ABS-CBN shows like On the Wings of Love, Dolce Amore, Ang Probinsiyano and Til I Met You, as well as News and Current Affairs shows. With this partnership, subscribers of SMART and PLDT Home will surely not miss a single episode of their favorite Kapamilya shows.
