After Gal Gadot amazed us with her beauty and character as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice last March, she will return on June 2017 for the film Wonder Woman. Gadot will be joined by Chris Pine as Captain Steve Trevor, Robin Wright Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya and Lucy Davis and the film will be directed by Patty Jenkins.
The film is based on characters created by William Moulton Marston, appearing in comic books published by DC Entertainment
The film will highlight the character of Wonder Woman, when she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers and her true destiny.
