In 2006, there was Mrs. World that happened St. Petersburg, Russia where the host of the competition called Mrs. Russia Sofia Arzhakovskaya as the winner while her opponent Mrs. Costa Rica, Andrea Bermudez Romero ranked 1st place.
The winning candidate was clear until the girl gave the sash and the crown to the first runner up and had her moment in stage. The production team called the attention and need to reshoot the whole awarding like nothing happen:
