Rock ‘n Roll to the world! After six weeks, It’s Showtime announced Ryan Rems Sarita as the first grand winner of the comedy reality segment of the show entitled Funny One. Ryan Rems competed with the other finalists namely Gibis Alejandrino, Crazy Duo, No Direction and Nonong Ballinan. Vhong Navarro, Billy Crawford and Bayani Agbayani hosted the segment; the winner was determined through judging headed by Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista, Goin Bulilit Director Frasco Mortiz, Dawn Zulueta, Richard Gomez and Joey Marquez.
Gibis landed 4th runner-up, No Direction is 3rd runner-up, Nonong is 2nd runner-up and the first runner up is the Crazy Duo.
The Funny One Grand Finals started with No Direction members Steven, Bangkay and Sadam doing a skit ala Dubsmash with a wedding in the end. Next is Nonong doing a speech following his PNong or President Nonong comedy sketch telling what he will be doing on his first week. Then Crazy Duo comprises of father and son tandem Diego and Gedent did a showdown on who will laugh while holding water on their mouth. Gibis did his iconic storytelling and gave a dance number with the moves of Enrique Gil, Vice Ganda and Pokwant. Lastly, Ryan Rems with her usual one liners together with the rock ‘n roll to the world expressions continue to get loud applauses and cheers from his fans.
Other comedians who joined the live show of Funny One but didn’t make it to the finals include Bob Jbeili, Idol Yoyoy, Iskubi Duo (Fitz and Jules) ajd TJ Valderama.
