On April 24 and 25, The North Face 100 brings to the Philippines the Asia’s 1st Trail Running Ultra Marathon series to Baguio-Benguet. It is the longest and breathtaking running event that will test the endurance and determination of the participants. Runners will face long and hard trails from stiff and rocky lanes to elevated areas like the mountains in Baguio and Benguet and even the cool breeze cannot lighten the pressure that this event offers.
TNF 100 is not only just trail running like other marathons, it will push the runners beyond their limits to be mountain climbers and can endure the long path they will be running. Pathways includes unexplored trails of Camp John Hay, Mt. Sto Tomas, Tuba and the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) grounds and will end at the Burnham Park, the famous tourist spot in Baguio City.
There are four categories of the North Face 100 event; 11K, 22k, 50K or 100K run and all runners who will finish the race first, including the second and third will be awarded with cash price and gift certificate from Nalgene;Sea to Summit; Res-Toe-Run and Marathon Max of this biggest running event in Asia. Aside from the cash price and other awards, is the title and the record of the runners will be receiving which will really wows all the followers of this extreme and adrenalin filled event.
