From the success of That’s My Tomboy and I Am Pogay that empowers the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community to express that talent and opinion in life, and Stars at 45 that gives chances to those who wanted a second chance to showcase their talent, It’s Showtime once again created a segment that will understand the situation of the Filipino couple from the perspective of husband and wife. And because it is a segment under Its Showtime, it has the twist where they need to switch role.
The husband doing the role of the wife and the wife as the husband, there are two parts of the segment; the talent portion and the question and answer. The role switching is already showed in the talent part until the question and answer. At first they will share their story in both perspective but they need to share it with switched roles.
The first two couples; Ortega couple from Malabon City and Crisostomo couple from Quezon City shared their story. The Ortega couple on their past how they reconcile after the husband became unfaithful where as the husband himself narrating the emotions of the wife who fight for her love to him. While the Crisostomo couple shared their story on switching their roles being the househusband and wife as the breed winner.
The segment become instantly an eye opener to viewers of Its Showtime at the same time realization for the couple to further challenge their relationship and share their stories to others.
Its Showtime airs on ABS-CBN, Monday to Saturday in the afternoon.
