Before the November 22 episode of The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 ended, long time independent musician Joniver Robles gave a 4-chair turner performance of I Don’t Need No Doctor by Humble Pie. All four coaches turn their chair for him and tried to outwit one another in order to get him for their team. Lea Salonga was very vocal that she enjoyed Joniver’s performance which she describe it beautiful. Here’s the video of Joniver’s performance in the Blind Audition:
Joniver said he has a crush on Lea which everyone thought that he will be choosing her. But still Apl.de.Ap, Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo push their luck in order to get him. In the end it was a big surprise when he choose Bamboo over Lea.
