After his successful portrayal of Franco Hidalgo in the top rating teleserye Ikaw Lamang with Kim Chiu, Coco Martin and Julia Montes with the help of Ivanna Chubbuck that Star Magic partners with in order to develop acting skills of the kapamilya artists, Jake Cuenca will now take a method acting program in New York under Lee Strasberg. The intensive acting program in New Year will start on September 29 where it will last for a month and he will be on leave from showbiz to focus on his study.
Jake applied to Lee Strasberg where he undergo auditions, interviews and sending portfolio of his acting projects. He is happy to pass and will start his 1 month intensive acting program in the school where Hollywood stars came from including Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johansson, Claire Danes, James Dean, Marlo Brando, Robert De Niro and Sean Penn. According to Jake aside from the acting program he will undergo in New York he will also take on the challenge of being independent which there will be no managers, handlers and personal assistant.
Jake shares that after his study he wanted to take on theater projects that will develop his skills more at the same time will execute what he will learn from New York. Lastly, Jake confirmed that The Naked Truth of Bench might be his last as a sexy star and he promises that the show on September 20 will be a big blast.
