From their phenomenal tandem in Chicks to Chicks and Chika Chika Chicks in the 80s as Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy and Inez Capistrano, Nova Villa and Freddie Webb will reunite on the big screen as Cinemalaya 2014 entry entitled 1st Ko si 3rd. Written and directed by Real Florido, 1st Ko si 3rd is one of the 10 finalist for the New Breed Full Length Feature category that will compete in Cinemalaya 2014 that will run from August 1 to 10.
1st Ko si 3rd follows the story of Cory (Villa), a 60 year old woman who finally retires from all her responsibilities in life. But she doesn’t want her age to stop her journey as a person and now exploring the world on her own all her what ifs in life returns including her past love. With few years in her life, will she take chance to rekindle and give her heart a second chance to the person whom she loved so much which is Third played by Webb.
For more than two decades, Villa and Webb will be back again as tandem and their chemistry as on-screen will always be there to give the viewers of all generations a beautiful and fun story that will give them the good vibe.
1st Ko si 3rd will be shown at the Cultural Center of the Philippines and Ayala Cinemas (Greenbelt 3, TriNoma and Alabang Town Center) on August 1 to 10, 2014.
