Primetime actress and currently lead star of the top rating teleserye The Legal Wife, Angel Locsin never ceases to extend her helping hands to those who are in need especially with the survivors of the Super Typhoon Yolanda that affected eastern side of Visayan including Tacloban City. Angel donated her 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle to ABS-CBN Sagip Kapamilya to be included on their online auction which the amount of money will be raised to help rebuild schools in typhoon Yolanda-stricken areas beginning Monday (Apr 21) until April 30.
Angel has authorized Sagip Kapamilya to publicly auction her muscle car and appealed to car enthusiasts to support her cause to help victims of typhoon Yolanda.
Angel shared to Kris Aquino during her interview in Kris TV, she said that she dreamt of owning a vintage Chevelle, so she went all the way to United States to purchase the car. She said to Kris that she decided to donate it for the auction because she felt bad having such a luxurious car knowing that many people were suffering from the onslaught of the super typhoon. Angel Locsin played a very special role during the relief efforts during the time of Yolanda where as being the ambassador of Red Cross Philippines she lead the volunteers to take part on relief operations and reach out other to raised funds. She also joined the Tulong PH campaign of ABS-CBN to send relief via Sagip Kapamilya.
