In line with the release of the much awaited return of the iconic fairytale villain in the big screen named Maleficent in the Sleeping Beauty story, Walt Disney Pictures releases two theatrical posters to add more excitement to the anticipating movie goers. Maleficent stars the award winning actress Angelina Jolie who will be playing the lead villainous character with the same name of the title. The film was directed by Robert Stromberg and will be showing in cinemas worldwide by May 28, 2014.
Maleficent now centers to the journey of the character with the same name. From others she was the villain who cast the forever sleep spell in Aurora in the fairytale novel Sleeping Beauty. In the film Disney will trackback on how Maleficent became that iconic nemesis. Being the protector of the wilderness and loving to mankind, she changes from a pure hearted person to stone hearted character because of betrayal she encountered. And the story will focus to her on how she made that curse to Aurora that brought mayhem to the kingdom.
