From the tweet of Bb Gandanghari to Daniel Padilla telling that he’s wrapping Kathryn Bernardo his “girlfriend” for Christmas it created a buzz online that was both picked up by ABS-CBN News, Push and other online entertainment sites, the Teen King and Queen denied that they are already in a relationship but they confirmed that they are still on the MU (mutual understanding) and exclusively dating stage. Kathryn who will be turning 18 on March said that she wanted to focus on her career and happy on what she and Daniel are having right now which is being close friend to each other.
2013 became a great year for Kathryn and Daniel which they had their first launching movie tandem under Star Cinema which was Must Be Love and followed with their first MMFF movie Pagpag Siyam Na Buhay. They also had their third teleserye together which is the top-rating Got To Believe following the success of Princess and I and Growing Up. Meanwhile, during their Buzz ng Bayan interview Boy Abunda asked Kathryn regarding if her mom is in favour for Daniel which at first the young actress burst to laughter and she said that she thinks that her mother is in favor of him.
Kathryn and Daniel are very thankful for the overwhelming support of their fans. Daniel said that he’s very thankful of having Kathryn as a close friend since they became co-workers up to present which he learn so much from her.
