From Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story and El Presidente that became big winners in the 2011 and 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), Governor of Laguna and actor ER Ejercito will be returning to the annual film festival for the third time to bring another classic action film entitled Boy Golden. In this action film ER’s leading lady will be KC Concepcion who will be doing challenging roles including doing action stunts in the film.
Boy Golden centers to the life of Arturo Porcuna who is a notorious gangster in the 60s where his monicre is the same title of the film. The movie will show the battle among the different group and fighting for survival and territory. Here are the two teasers of Boy Golden.
Boy Golden will be competing with other MMFF entries for 2013 including Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy, My Little Bossing, Pedro Calungsod : Batang Martir, 10,000 Hours, Kimmy Dora : Ang Kiyemeng Prequel, Pagpag Siyam Na Buhay and Kaleidoscope World. All films will be shown in cinemas by Chrismas Day (December 25 ).
