From being the soft spoken Lena Madrigal in Maging Sino Ka Man Book 2, to the fierce Scarlet Dela Rhea-Castilejos in Iisa Pa Lamang and Rubi Perez in Rubi, Angelica Panganiban returns to television with two different roles in Apoy Sa Dagat. Joining Angelica in this drama series of ABS-CBN that will air on the first quarter of 2013 are Piolo Pasucal and Diether Ocampo. Apoy Sa Dagat is directed by Eric Reyes.
Angelica Panganiban plays the role of Serena and Rebecca, twin sisters separated when they were young because of an incident planned by Adrianna (Angel Aquino) before. Serena grew with the family who saved her with the help of Ruben (Piolo). Meanwhile, the other half Rebecca stayed with her mother and grew with anger against Adrianna. With Serena’s plan to bring fortune to the family that saved her she tries to earn money and work at the city until she met Anton (Diether) who saved her from the person who tries to hurt her.
Things became complicated for Serena when she met Rebecca and started to switch places with her. How will it affect this change to her life including her relationship with Ruben? Will Serena give in to the plans of Rebecca that might soon consume her?
