From the studio that produces Titanic and Avatar, 20th Century Fox brings another visually stunning movie that tackles about determination, family and love entitled Life of Pi. Life of Pi is based from the Yann Martel’s 2001 novel of the same name; it follows the journey for survival of the teenager named Piscine Molitor “Pi” Patel after the shipwrecked that lead to the death of his family. Pi was stranded in the middle of the Pacific Ocean on a lifeboat with a Bengal tiger named Richard Parker. With the wide imagination of Martel he brought the character of Pi to a different kind of adventure making him see the grandeur of the oceans and encountered different kind of species which the production of the film make it come to life with 3D visual effects with the help of Rhythm & Hues Studios.

With the cutting-edge motion picture technologies, Ang Lee gives the same kind of visual presentations to the movie goers who enjoyed seeing Avatar, Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Titanic with blending of science and art of filmmaking to make the bioluminescent, rainbow hues of magnificent schools of flying fish; the shimmering blues of the ocean’s swells; and a radiant humpback whale that streaks to the surface of the ocean and event the great storm be as real as it can be. With these magnificently stunning visual effects it will perfectly bring out the emotions to all the movie goers that can bring out happiness, love, fear and calmness in every scene.

Life of Pi opens January 9 in cinemas nationwide from 20th Century Fox to be distributed by Warner Bros.
