The journey to stardom begins tonight as The X-Factor Philippines Final 3 namely Gabriel Maturan, KZ Tandingan or Daddy’s Home will be having their final showdown on a back to back performance and results night that will happen live at the PAGCOR Theater in Paranaque City. Will the first champion come from the category of boys headed by Martin Nievera, or from the girls category of Charice or maybe from the group category of Gary Valenciano?
Gabriel Maturan is from Dipolog City and under the mentorship of Martin Nievera who performed a Justin Bieber song during the last performance night before the grand finals. He was with Kedebon Colim and Jeric Medina in the group who were both eliminated in two consecutive weeks. Meanwhile, Daddy’s Home from Metro Manila who wanted to test their luck and accepted during the competition landed in the mentorship of Gary Valenciano. Daddy’s Home is made of Ebet, Doc Eric, Jerome and Mitchell who were professionals by day and singers by night, they became a regular in the bottom 2 in most of the results night. They were joined by AKA JAM and Take Off in the group category.
It was a heart-breaking week for KZ Tandingan of Digos City where she became part of the bottom 2 last week with Allen Sta. Maria who is also from the girls category under the mentorship of Charice. Just when they thought they can make it together in the finals, Allen was eliminated after Gary, Martin and Pilita Corales voted against her. It was hard for Charice to see both of her contenders in the bottom 2, but it was KZ who has given the chance to compete to the grand finals. Jerrianne Templo is the third member of the girls category.
With their stories and talents, who among Gabriel Maturan, KZ Tandingan and Daddy’s Home will be getting the support of the viewers of The X-Factor Philippines and place him/her or them on top and win 4 Million Pesos together with recording contract with Star Records and other prizes from the sponsors. Hosted by KC Concepcion, The X-Factor Philippines Grand Finals will air on ABS-CBN after Maalaala Mo Kaya for the Grand Performance Night and on Sunday after Sarah G Live for the much awaited Grand Results Night.
