With a dollar you can feed four hungry children and like the message of last year’s world food day feeding a hungry children you are feeding their dreams and brings hope to the lives and this is the theme of the World Hunger Relief 2012 – From Hunger to Hope. This is a project of Yum! Brands a group of restaurants having KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell to raise funds in support to World Food Programme’s hunger relief projects where it will provide more than 460 million meals to people in remote corner of the world including in the Middle East and South Africa.
With the help of the WFP Ambassador Christina Aguilera who serves as the global spokesperson for World Hunger Relief she encourages everyone to participate to be part of the campaign that started in 2009 and until now successfully raising funds in fighting hunger and malnutrition.

They also launches their website (www.fromhungertohope.com) in line with the kick off on October 2012 until the end of December to raise funds online aside from the fund raising happening in different restaurants under KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell.
Here in the Philippines, KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell will be having a regional campaign with the World Food Programme-Philippines to raise funds for their adopted communities in Central Mindanao that will focus on school meals, nutrition and recovery assistance from the Typhoon Sendong (Washi). The campaign will run from mid-October until January 2013. Last year they raised $145, 000 or more than Php 6 Million and hopefully they are targeting more for the World Hunger Relief 2012.
