For the very first time, Star Power Champion and Queen of Teleserye Theme Song Angeline Quinto will be appearing on her first Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) episode this Saturday (August 11). Angeline will be playing the role of Carina, a native of the Bagobo tribe who fell in love with a good-looking Ilonggo named Ariel played by Jason Abalos. This MMK episode supports the World’s Indigenous Day of the United Nation as they empower the Indigenous People for equal rights and cultural heritage.
This episode follows the love story of Carina and Ariel being hindered by the disapproval of Ariel’s family because of cultural differences. Discover how they will face all the challenges that try to break them apart and how their relationship will survive.
This MMK episode will showcase the talent of Angeline Quinto in acting where she already showed it when she appeared in her first movie with Coco Martin in Star Cinema’s Born To Love You that premiered few months ago. Her film with Coco is now available in original DVDs and VCDs at video stores and record bars nationwide distributed by Star Home Video.
