After the fuzz online along with the “fan arts” posted in Facebook and Twitter regarding the new KFC Cheese Top Burger, finally I had the chance to try this latest product of KFC under their Streetwise Value Menu that is only Php 50 that goes with regular drink. It was last Monday when KFC let me try their Cheese Top Burger which I always have the problem of ordering it in some of their stores in Quezon City simply because if happens that it is mostly sold out just like their Double Down and Krushers Halo Halo and Mais Con Hielo before.
The KFC Cheese Top Burger is not your ordinary burger because unlike other “chicken burger” that is available in other food chain and also in KFC they offer it in a crispy fried chicken fillet that is sometimes doesn’t fit the taste of their burger lovers like me. Sometimes I want it regular chicken fillet not that crunchy but has that taste and tenderness that compliments with the dressing. Well the KFC Cheese Top Burger offers the original recipe chicken patty just like in the Double Down, which is tender and rich in flavor because of the Colonel’s 11 secret herbs and spices and it compliments well with the special garlic parmesan dressing.
But what makes the product special is the cheese on top of the burger buns, before I thought that the sliced cheese was placed on top of the bread before they wrap it and serve it to the diner. But the truth is the sliced cheese was placed in the bread right before it was baked so it will not be soggy and messy when you eat it because the sliced cheese wraps on top of the burger bun.
