The long wait is over; ABS-CBN announces the airing of Lorenzo’s Time on July 2 on the Primetime Bida time slot of the Kapamilya Network. It is one of the most anticipated teleserye of 2012 and also the comeback TV series of Carmina Villaroel to ABS-CBN. Joining Carmina in this teleserye is the child wonder Zaijian Jaranilla who will be playing the lead role in the story as Lorenzo. Under the direction of Jerome Chavez Pobocan and Tots Mariscal Sanchez, Lorenzo’s Time Ms. Gina Pareño, Alfred Vargas, Belle Mariano, James Blanco, Joel Torre, Rommel Padilla, and Amy Austria-Ventura.
Lorenzo’s Time follow the journey of a child named Lorenzo (Jaranilla) who were diagnosed with progeria, a rare condition wherein symptoms resembling aspects of aging are manifested at an early age. In order to preserve his young body until they find a cure for it they used cryonics on him. It is a medical process where a living being undergo low-temperature which it slows the growth of his or her cells and can be resuscitated in the future. But before that he made a pack with Kathy, a girl with the same age like him that they will hold on to each other until he wakes up from cryonics.
But instead of waiting for just few years, Lorenzo wakes up 30 years after and everyone around him already aged except him. How will he adjust to a new world that is very different from world he knew before he undergoes cryonics? And his promise to Kathy (Villaroel) who’s age now fits to be his mother will still happen?
