Xyriel Manabat, Karina Bautista, Kaori Oinuma, and Elyson de Dios bring chilling real-life supernatural encounters to the screen in iWant’s newest limited horror anthology, True Manila Encounters, premiering October 29 exclusively on the streaming platform.
Produced by award-winning production company CreaZion Studios, the series dramatizes frightening accounts of paranormal experiences submitted by individuals across Metro Manila, transforming real-life stories into suspenseful tales of supernatural terror.
The anthology opens with “Undressed,” starring Karina as Pearl, a woman who suppresses her third eye to avoid encounters with the paranormal, and Xyriel as Mei-Mei, her coworker who unknowingly purchases a thrifted dress with a gruesome past. When a vengeful spirit attached to the garment begins terrorizing those who come into contact with it, Pearl must confront the very fears she has long tried to escape.

Rae Red, known for critically acclaimed films such as Birdshot, Si Chedeng at Si Apple, and Eerie, directs the opening episode, which premieres on October 29.
On November 5, Kaori and Elyson take the lead in “Occupant,” a supernatural thriller about a long-distance relationship threatened by a disturbing presence. The story follows Ana (Kaori) and her workaholic boyfriend, Jam (Elyson), whose video calls become increasingly terrifying as an unexplained entity relentlessly torments Ana. As her grip on reality begins to unravel, Jam races against time to save her and their relationship.
The episode is directed by Dodo Dayao, whose film credits include Uninvited, Midnight in a Perfect World, and Violator.
